Rockwell Network Systems has created the NetHopper product family ofdial-up and synchronous routers and remote client software to connectboth remote TCP/IP and Novell IPX LANs and remote users to theircorporate backbone LANs and to the Intenet using either standard orleased telephone lines.The dial-up NH-P features a single integrated Rockwell modem to speeddata transmission over regular telephone lines at up to 28.8Kbps. Thenew NH-RAS can be custom-built with one to five V.34 modems. As yournetworking requirements increase, your NH-RAS can be easily expanded (tothe maximum of five modems) by purchasing additional modems that areeasily installed by an authorized reseller or direct by the factory. TheNH-RAS is also available in a rack-mount model.For each modem in your NH-RAS you will receive a copy of Rockwell'sRoadHopper(TM) Remote Access Client Software, which provides mobile, non-Lan users with dial-up access. RoadHopper Software provides a phone bookmanager for configuration of parameters for each dial-in site, andsimultaneously supports TCP/IP and IPX resources.The NetHopper NH-Sync+ features a synchronous V.35 interface thatsupports both SW56 and Digital Data Service leased lines at either 56Kbpsor 64Kbps, as well as ISDN-BRI with a Terminal Adapter or CSU/DSU (notincluded). The NH-Sync+ also offers built-in dial backup capability viaan integrated modem in case of leased line failure.
